Leroy Ball joined Calgon Carbon in 2000 as assistant controller and was promoted to controller in 2000. He was elected vice President and Chief Financial Officer by the Company’s board of directors in 2002.  Mr. Ball has responsibility for Calgon Carbon’s accounting, treasury, tax and information systems functions worldwide.  He is also a member of the board of directors of Calgon Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation, the company’s joint venture with Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation. 

Prior to joining Calgon Carbon, Mr. Ball spent nine years with Carmeuse North America (formerly Dravo Corporation), where he held positions of increasing responsibility in the finance area.  Carmeuse is the largest provider of lime and limestone products in North America.

Mr. Ball earned a B.S. in Accounting from Florida International University and an MBA from Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
