After the adsorptive capacity of activated carbon has been exhausted or the treatment project has been completed, Calgon Carbon can offer reactivation services for the spent carbon that are less costly and carry less long-term liabilities than disposal. The spent carbon can be returned to Calgon Carbon for thermal reactivation and recycle to the same or similar applications. The reactivated carbon can be directly returned to the client or replacement virgin or reactivated carbon can be substituted, if needed.
